Mission

Morningside Heights has a rich history which is embodied in its buildings, green spaces and streetscapes. These elements contribute to a sense of place and certain expectations about our quality of life, and proportions of residential and commercial use. Protecting these attributes along with our social, and architectural history is the goal of the Morningside Heights Historic District Committee.
